Renault have a habit of nailing together shiny blue Alpine concepts that are so drop-dead gorgeous, so evocative and slinky, they make you bite the back of your fist and howl 'Oh god, yes, just build the damn thing already!'. Look at 2012's A110-50, for example. Much to love there.
2015's effort is the Alpine Celebration, an Audi TT-sized coupe that evokes the styling of the classic A110 without descending into retro pastiche. The squat proprtions are spot-on; it looks ready to pounce, with Cayman-like efficiency and RCZ-esque flair. Should Renault decide to revive the Alpine brand on a production scale, this would certainly be a contender.
Unfortunately they haven't really told us anything about it. In fact, they're adamant that this is nothing more than a design study, rather than previewing the Elise/Cayman-baiter they keep promising. You can see that it's mid-engined, of course, and that there's lots of lightweight material in use. Perhaps if we all wish really hard, Renault will admit that this is near-production-ready, and has a Mégane 275 motor in there. Hey, you never know...
