The phrase 'barn-find' is a source of much irritation to today's classic car buyer. I mean, c'mon - how many barns do people think there actually are in this country? In general, when you see 'barn-find' in an advert, it actually means 'left sitting untouched for quite a long time and is consequently a bit knackered'.
This Rolls-Royce, however, actually was found in a barn. The Spirit of Ecstasy is missing, the aerial is a coat hanger, it's clearly had things dripping on it, and something heavy has landed on the driver's side rear-quarter... but, in the typically robust style of Rolls-Royce, it's still a perfectly servicable motor car, despite years of neglect. So, would you fix and polish it to its former glory, or leave it as is to upset the establishment...?
