Belgian Mexican Bug

That's right, 'Belgian Mexican'. By which I mean 'Mexican-built Beetle, owned by a Belgian'.
Being a Latin American example, it's technically a VW Kever, and was built in 1969. It enjoyed a salt-free, rust-free life for decades before being imported to Europe by its current owner, who gave it a full sympathetic restoration and, of course, set about applying some period-perfect modifications.
Now, there are a lot of approaches that you can take with a Bug - Cal-look, rat, drag, the classic narrowed-beam-and-slammed... but, as you can see, subtlety is the order of the day here: bright, solid paint, whitewalls, a dab of rake, a dash of camber. Less is more.
