Aircooled 924


The humble Porsche 924, when placed alongside its racier siblings, has never been perceived as the last word in performance or dynamism. But this shouldn't be held against it; indeed, the model should be celebrated for its everyman appeal.
And, taking this train of thought to a rather deranged conclusion, we find Luftwerks' über-clean 924 - a rear-engined, aircooled Frankenstein's monster of a car. It wears 911 DNA proudly, if obtusely, by sporting a Beetle engine in the boot. And this is no lashed-together stunt, these guys are doing this properly. Click here to see...
