Supercharged mkII Golf VR6

There's something ineffably cockle-warming about a well-sorted mkII Golf, isn't there? Take this one - a selection of well-chosen mods to complement the standard lines, flying under the radar of common sensibility but brimming with detail for those who know what to look for.
It's got a VR6 engine with a Z-Engineering supercharger, which produces around 250bhp at 5.7psi. Externally we find a lot of smoothing around the bumpers and G60 arches, while the interior is succulently lavished with creamy leather. There's a set of Porsche brakes behind those polished BBS RMs, which are 10.5" wide on the rear. Overall, then, it's subtle, smooth, shiny and quick. These are good things.
