Style 63 135i

The E82 1-series coupe is quite a handsome little thing, taking the ungainly and extravagantly-rumped hatchback and smoothing off the rear, making the shape flow rather more pleasingly. The 1M is, as many people have pointed out, a spectacular ballistic missile, and works as a superb halo for the model. But let's not discount the 135i that sits below the 1M in the range - its twin-turbo 3.0-litre straight-six is good for 306bhp, taking it from 0-60mph in 5.3 seconds. It's got lots of M bits within the chassis and drivetrain too, so it's a mean little performer.
This particular 135i takes that sporting formula and dumps it on the ground. Well, why not, eh? It's wearing Style 63 wheels, like you'd find on an early X5 (commonly referred to as 'Posh Venoms'), with the hi-pros replaced by something a little more rubber-bandy. So it's quick, and it looks cool. Two good things.
