VC Valiant Safari

I'm just a little bit in love with this. It's a VC-generation Chrysler Valiant Safari Wagon, an Australian-market V8 bruiser built in 1966-7. Its oh-so-Detroit lines are just dripping with sixties American charm, but the model was actually a totally Australian offering - although, interestingly, it was available in Britain too, debuting at the 1966 London Motor Show.
The example we see here is resplendent in period touches - wide-band whitewalls, venetian blinds, lashings of chrome and a chunky sun-visor. And it's just about the most beautiful car I've seen today.
