Jaffa Jetta

Something of a show scene darling, this Jetta, and Performance VW readers will recognise it from its recent cover feature.
It's a 1983 mkI model, running custom coilovers over a set of polished 13" split-rims with reversed bolts. As is all the rage in the VW scene, it has a chrome-accented engine in a smoothed, wire-tucked bay, while the body represents the archetypal Euro aesthetic: clean, standard lines, subtly flared arches, a general sense of crispness... A lovely effort, overall, and not something you see every day. (Unless you own one, obviously.)
