'66 Coupe De Ville

Courtesy of Stanceworks, here's a gloriously imposing old barge from Detroit's bridging era between outrageous fins and slab-sided boxiness.
Representing all that was premium and aspirational about big American coupes, the CDV was Cadillac's flagship, featuring a 429ci (7.0-litre) big-block V8 that offered 340bhp, while the interior was pure ambassadorial luxury. And just look how low this Coupe sits - something this obscenely long laying so close to the ground is a magnificent exercise in the frivolous. True Cadillac perfection, this.
