'Monster' Tiger

The Sunbeam Tiger is a brilliantly brutal thing, taking the svelte and lithe Sunbeam Alpine and sprinkling a little of Carroll Shelby's magic over it to turn it into a Ford V8-powered monster.
...and 'Monster' is the key word, for that is the name of the Tiger you see here. It was the most successful Tiger raced in Europe in period, driven for Team Fraser by Bernard Unett. It then spent several decades in the States, before being fully restored and returning to Europe. You see it here in the paddock at the Goodwood Revival, where it was raced by Tom Dyer in the Fordwater Trophy. And yes, it was as ferociously loud as it looks like it should be.
