Duratec RS2000

Spotted at Chelsea Auto Legends, this is a droop-snoot done right: period looks, modern power. The '78 Escort is arrow-straight and rot-free (just look at those strut-tops!), with little external embellishment to give away the firepower within. The 15" Superlights draw the eye though, then you spot the large discs behind them, front and rear... and then you see what's under the bonnet and struggle to stifle the applause. There's a Duratec in there for goodness' sake, with Emerald management, Kent Cams and a serpentine exhaust manifold. What fun!

Its an ST170 engine so technically a Zetec with Duratec written on the top.
