Savage Cortina

This period-tuned muscle saloon caused quite a stir at the Goodwood Breakfast Club, with all heads turning as it rumbled into the paddock, its single huge nostril sucking in great lungfuls of Chichester drizzle. According to the owner it's a genuine Savage, which explains the stock-ish looks, 1600 badging, and menacing grunt from the hot 3.4-litre V6.
To Cortina aficionados the Savage is the Holy Grail, sharing pedestal space with original Crayfords. You see that photo below with the crowd of Ford fans ogling the engine? That happened within a minute of the car arriving. We have a sort of radar for these things, you see.
