900bhp, 5000 miles

Australia is a harsh and unforgiving place; a vast expanse of shimmering heat and deadly creatures, sparsely populated by a people with an ingrained sense of 'go big or go home'. And it doesn't get much bigger than driving 5000 miles in a 900bhp XY Ford Falcon GT.
Equipped with an endurance fuel tank and a tall final ratio, this monstrously powerful muscle-coup did just that, making a round trip from Sydney to Perth. All in the name of raising money for sick kids via the Starlight Foundation, this trip proved that a forty-year old car with a drag-spec engine can cope with an endurance run, and did its bit to rid us of all that pesky petrol in the process - a truly epic journey, studded with rough terrain and aggressive spiders.
You can read all about it here and here.
