695 Tributo Maserati

Remember the Tributo Ferrari? That was a souped-up 500 Abarth with Rosso Scuderia paint, 180bhp, Brembo brakes and Challenge Stradale stripes... and a whopping price tag. But it worked brilliantly as a brand ambassador, much like the Rolls-Royce Goodwood Mini, in that it infused the entire range with a sense of luxury and premium quality as well as performance, all within the reach of the common man. Kind of.
So, Fiat have done it again. Behold, the 695 Tributo Maserati - a luxurious and feisty 500, resplendent in Pontevecchio Bordeaux paintwork. Like the Tributo Ferrari, its 1.4-litre four-pot produces 180bhp and is mated to an electro-mechanical Abarth Competition transmission. Its alloys are (smaller) replicas of those found on the Maserati GranTurismo, its interior is trimmed in sumptuous Poltrona Frau leather, and the sunshine pours in via the 500C's retracting roof. Just 499 will be built. Price? That'll be £32k to you, sir...
