F40 Prototype

The Ferrari F40 requires no introduction. Obviously. You had a poster of one on your wall when you were a kid - we all did.
But look, this one isn't red! It is in fact a development prototype, used as a mule to test a number of even more hardcore features: Brembo brakes, lowered uniball suspension, wider Speedlines, more cooling ducts and a power hike to 590bhp.
Unlike most prototypes, this one was actually sold to a private buyer (presumably because it had cost a bloody fortune to build) - Luca Sartori, a privateer racer, who campaigned it in the '92 Gran Criterium Supercar GT Series, taking a couple of wins in the process.
