'65 Alfa Romeo GTA 1600

It's often said that you're not a true petrolhead until you've owned an Alfa Romeo. A further cliché posits that ownership of an Alfa will see you spending a lot of time on the hard shoulder, watching balefully as the electrics fizz, hoping that the AA arrive before the metalwork dissolves. The relative truthfulness of either of these statements is hotly debated, but the important truth is this: Alfa Romeos are, on the whole, ace. And if you want a particularly ace one, Alfaholics are your lads.
You may have seen the odd Alfaholics build on SSBB before, each more spectacular than the last - and this 1965 GTA 1600 is possibly the best yet; built to FIA Appendix K specifications, it features beautifully restored bodywork, a fully seam-welded chassis, a frankly astonishing rollcage, a fuel cell, a bespoke race loom and a gorgeous twin-cam on twin Webers. This kind of work doesn't come cheap, but it's worth every penny.
