The VIP look, as we've discussed before, offers a level of luxury and opulence to the modern modifier without sacrificing the element of surprise, or suppressing the desire to take a car to extremes. You start with something premium - say, this Infiniti Q45, with its 4.5-litre V8, wood trim and creamy-soft leather - and make it look like there's a Yakuza boss driving it: vast, wide rims, extreme negative camber, a shouty exhaust and a crazy-low stance. A particular highlight of this Q45 is the picture above; the juxtaposition of big-bore side-exit exhaust and camber so intense that only 50% of the tyre's on the ground. That's not an eventuality that would ever have come up in an Infiniti planning meeting.
