'49 Bentley Woodie

A wonderful fusion of styles, this - ye olde English opulence and solid sideboardery combined with surfrat custom panelling. Peculiar, isn't it? But this is no disrespectful reworking of a vintage Bentley, this is all period-build stuff. Crafted by Rippon Brothers of Huddersfield - Britain's oldest coachbuilder, no less - this '49 was built new on a Mark VI chassis, complete with 4¼-litre straight-6 and a four-speed 'box. Performance, of course, is 'ample', allowing you to whisk the family around in sumptuously-appointed luxury.
