Pro Touring Pace Car

As Mustangs go, the Fox-bodies aren't often considered 'classic' as such, although we could be entering an era in which that all changes.
Behold, a '79 Mustang with the full Pro Touring treatment; it's no cosmetic makeover either - you can see from the photos that this is a thorough and fastidious build.
The body and paint is stock Pace Car chic, but the rest is pure modern: power comes from a supercharged 32-valve V8, the brakes and suspension are top-notch race-spec items, the centre console houses air-ride controls and an iPad... a truly impressive build, and full of surprises.
It's still a work in progress - you can follow developments here.
