Regent Street Motor Show - The Veterans

The 2011 Regent Street Motor Show serves to extend the London-to-Brighton Veteran Car Run across an entire weekend; Saturday saw the cars line up for a concours event along Regent Street, followed by the historic rally to the coast on Sunday. Also present at the event were 50 Jaguar E-Types and 50 Mini Coopers (to celebrate their respective half-centuries; more on these elsewhere on SuckSqueezeBangBlow) as well as a number of forward-thinking electric vehicles, but the real draw was the veteran line-up. Not only are these rare and aged cars in perfect working order, but their doting custodians have every confidence in their ability to cruise down to Brighton. It's a privilege to be in the presence of the very genesis of the motor car, and in such vast numbers too.
Here are some of SuckSqueezeBangBlow's highlights.
