C63 AMG Coupé Black Series

The Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG has one of the all-time great exhaust noises; it's particularly effective coming from the four-door iteration, as it kind of looks like a middle-manager's commuter car until the taps open and all hell breaks loose.
With the release of the C63 Coupé, M-B were firmly lining up BMW's M3 in their ballistic crosshairs, and the yellow monster you see here represents this train of thought arriving at its logical conclusion. Don't think for a moment that its yellowness means it's in any way soft...

'Black Series' is AMG talk for 'as extreme as we could make it, plus another ten percent or so'. Past Black Series Mercs - the SL65, the CLK63 - have been terrifying, testosterone-pumped touring cars with tax discs, and the new C63 AMG Coupé Black Series fits perfectly into the lineage. It has that trademark exhaust bark amplified in spades, showcasing its mighty 517bhp to anyone within a five-mile radius. It's got six-way adjustable coilovers, enormous carbon-ceramic brakes, ultra-sticky Dunlops, a rear axle radiator, lightweight wheels, carbon-fibre spoilers, flics and splitters... oh, and it'll do 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds. It's so hardcore, so focused, it's astonishing that it's even allowed into the hands of ordinary drivers at all.
If it was available as an unassuming four-door, it'd be just about perfect.
