Morgan 3 Wheeler - Goodwood FoS 2011

Morgan's little three-wheeler was a real crowd-pleaser at the Festival of Speed. You can see in the picture above that Dizzee Rascal enjoyed a ride up the hill on Friday, but the retro pocket-rocket didn't need celebrity endorsement to shine for the masses - its ability to pull spectacular burnouts on the startline saw to that.

Taking cues from the original Morgan v-twin three-wheelers of the twenties and thirties, this fresh 21st-century model features a front-mounted S&S motorcycle engine, driving the rear wheel via a Mazda gearbox. Due to its impressively low weight - look at it, you could probably pick it up on your own - it'll hit 60mph in 4.5 seconds. Awesome in every way, and I'm very, very keen to drive one!

As well as demonstrating its performance up the hill, Morgan Design showcased the rasping bathtub's pop-art potential; below we see one dressed up as a WWII bomber, and another designed by über-trendy fashion label Superdry. The possibilities are endless.
