Aston Martin Rapide - Nürburgring edition

Traditionally speaking, the Aston Martin name went on the two-door sports cars while the Lagonda name was given to the four-door cruisers. So how do Aston Martin bolster the focused sporting credentials of the marque on the new four-door Rapide? By preparing a car for the Nürburgring 24hr in May, that's how.
It will reportedly be as close as possible to factory spec, although with a few (obviously necessary) modifications: a bit of weight-stripping, the standard electrical cutout & extinguisher systems, rollcage, slick tyres and race suspension. They don't have a lot to prove with the Rapide beyond justifying the break with naming tradition, so it should be a roaring success. Although the extra doors might make it a little incongruous on the grid...
