1976 Hot Rod world final

Manic, dirty, frantic action from the glory days of nailing battered Fords and Rootes machinery around a short oval.

"You can't mention hot rod racing without mentioning Barry Lee." Damn straight. But it's George Polley that takes the title...

Superb stuff - great to see my sport as it once was. I was lucky enough to interview George Polley at an awards night last November, and then present his son Dave (now a top F2 stock car driver) with a ton of trophies.
