Jean-Yves Attard's wonderful workshop

Jean-Yves Attard is an interesting chap. A former moto Tour de France champion, professional sidecar designer and mechanic for Yamaha, builder of a rocket-powered car for a land-speed record attempt and, latterly, developer of a Lomax-style three-wheeled special, he runs a garage in the Tarn valley servicing and rebuilding a stream of Rolls Royces and Citroen DSs for customers to fund his never-ending series of outlandish projects. To walk past his yard, you'd be forgiven for thinking that the cars therein were abandoned and the premises closed, but he's there six days a week and all the cars are documented and available for sale. Except, that is, for his handbuilt red rocket car and the eight-wheeled CX he uses as a recovery vehicle.
If you find yourself in the area of Lescure-d'Albigeois, why not pop in for a chat? He speaks excellent English and is always happy to chew over old glories.
