Bay-windows for ecohippies

The whole hippie/Volkswagen association has always been an odd one - leaving aside the Nazi connections, it's increasingly difficult for turnip-chewing eco-warriors to justify smoking about in a big heavy microbus. Canadian deisgner Alexandre Verdier has brought the camper into the 21st century with his digital renderings: hybrid biodiesel power, solar panels, home theatre with 5.1 surround sound, oh... and it looks awesome. Check out the slammed stance and the bonkers canopy that makes it look like a Wacky Races jet fighter.

Rip out that weirdy-beardy engine and give it a 997 turbo unit, dial in some massive negative camber and take it to Santa Pod. Epic.
