225mph Jaguar sneaks under the radar

There was no media fanfare at all surrounding Jaguar's XFR speed-testing at the Bonneville salt flats... but the XFR peaked at 225mph on road tyres.

Co-ordinating the run was race team Rocketsports - multiple Daytona and Trans-Am winners, no less - who did nothing but remove the cats, give the ECU a tweak and fit a huge rear wing for stability before launching the big cat across the salt. The results, as you can see below, look pretty damn impressive.
